A short note

These terms and conditions describe the agreement between you and Emma Harven, trading through Focus Pages ("we", "us", "our"), when you purchase and use the ebook It's Not Laziness, It's ADHD. They are written in plain language so you can read them easily, but they are a legally binding contract. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

By placing an order, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you have the legal right to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with the purchase.

Digital product description

The product offered for sale on this website is a digital ebook titled It's Not Laziness, It's ADHD, written by Emma Harven. It is delivered as a PDF file and, where available, as an EPUB file. The ebook is a personal, editorial work intended for individual reading and reflection.

You are not purchasing a physical book, a subscription, a membership, or any ongoing service. The purchase is a one-time transaction for a single downloadable digital file. The exact contents, length, and format of the ebook are as described on the product page at the time of purchase.

You do not need to create an account to buy the ebook. We do not offer user accounts, login portals, or library services at this time.

Pricing and payment

The current price of the ebook is €14.99 (fourteen euros and ninety-nine cents). All prices are shown in euros and include any applicable value-added tax or similar consumption tax, depending on your location.

We reserve the right to change the price of the ebook at any time, but any price change will not affect orders that have already been completed at the price shown at checkout.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you complete your purchase, you will be redirected to Stripe's checkout page. We do not see, store, or process your full payment card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment step.

You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information. If your payment is declined or fails for any reason, no order will be completed and no ebook will be delivered.

You will receive a payment confirmation from Stripe, and we may also send you an order confirmation by email. These confirmations do not constitute a VAT invoice unless expressly described as such.

Delivery of the digital download

Delivery is entirely digital and immediate. After your payment is successfully confirmed, a private download link is sent to the email address you provided at checkout. The email will contain instructions for downloading the PDF and, where included, the EPUB file.

The download link is generated through a secure, signed URL that expires after a limited period for your protection. If the link expires before you have downloaded the file, or if you cannot find the email, please contact us at focuspages.ebook@gmail.com and we will send you a fresh link by hand.

You are responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address at checkout. We are not liable for delivery failures caused by a mistyped email address, a full inbox, or email filters that direct our message to your spam or junk folder. Please check your spam folder before contacting us.

You may download the ebook for your own use on your personal devices. The file is intended for your own use only and may not be shared, hosted publicly, or distributed through file-sharing networks.

Intellectual property and copyright

The ebook and all of its contents, including but not limited to the text, illustrations, design, layout, structure, and any supplementary materials, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. The copyright in the ebook is owned by Emma Harven and/or Focus Pages, unless otherwise stated.

All trademarks, logos, and brand names used on the website are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use them without our prior written permission.

When you purchase the ebook, you are not purchasing ownership of the copyright or any other intellectual property rights. You are purchasing a personal licence to use the ebook in accordance with these terms.

Personal use licence

Upon successful purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the ebook for your personal, non-commercial use only. This licence is for you personally and may not be transferred, sold, or assigned to anyone else.

Under this licence, you may:

• Download the ebook to your personal devices for your own reading.
• Print a single personal copy for your own use, if you wish.
• Keep backup copies of the file on devices you own or control.

You may not, under any circumstances:

• Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the ebook to any third party.
• Upload the ebook to public websites, file-sharing platforms, cloud storage folders that are shared with others, or social media.
• Share your download link with another person or allow another person to use your link to obtain the file.
• Modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the ebook, except for personal annotations made within your own copy.
• Use the ebook or any part of it for commercial purposes, including in courses, coaching programmes, workshops, or publications.
• Remove or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, or author credits from the file.

Any use beyond the personal use licence described here is a breach of these terms and may also infringe copyright. We reserve the right to terminate your licence and pursue any available remedies if these restrictions are violated.

Refund policy for digital products

Because the ebook is a digital product delivered immediately after purchase, and because it cannot be returned in the same way as a physical item, all purchases are generally final once the download link has been sent. By completing your purchase, you expressly acknowledge and agree that the performance begins immediately and that the digital file will be delivered to you without delay.

In many jurisdictions, this means that the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once delivery has begun. However, this does not affect any legal rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

We prefer kindness to rigidity. We may issue a refund at our sole discretion in the following cases:

• The download link or email never arrived, and we are unable to deliver the file to you after you contact us.
• The file you receive is corrupted or technically unusable, and we cannot provide you with a working copy.
• You accidentally completed two identical orders in close succession.
• Any other genuine situation you write to us about. We read every message and respond personally.

To request a refund, please email us at focuspages.ebook@gmail.com from the email address used at checkout, within 14 days of your purchase, and briefly explain what happened. Approved refunds will be processed through Stripe and returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, the refund may take several business days to appear.

If a refund is issued, your download link will be deactivated and your licence to use the ebook ends. You must delete any copies you have made.

Limitation of liability

The ebook is an editorial and reflective work written from personal experience. It is intended to comfort, validate, and inform. It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or legal advice. The ebook is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or counselling.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your purchase, download, or use of the ebook, including but not limited to any decisions you make or actions you take based on its content.

If you believe you may have ADHD or any other health condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. The ebook is meant to accompany, not replace, that conversation.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors, or that the ebook will be compatible with every device or software configuration. We are not responsible for any technical issues caused by your device, internet connection, or third-party software.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or another jurisdiction, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence. Any dispute resolution will take place in a manner consistent with those protections.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, legal requirements, or the way the website works. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. The version of the terms in force at the moment you complete your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.

If we make a significant change that affects your rights, we will do our best to make the change clear. Your continued use of the website after any changes means you accept the updated terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or contrary to law by a court or other authority of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
